quick question..
quick question..
Ok I just bought a stock 09 4x4 STX. I plan to level and get some new wheels and tires for it.
First, I was looking at getting the bilstien 5100s for the front. But was quite sure what to get for the back. I would like to improve the handling as well as the looks. So my question would be are the bilstiens a good choice? And what should I use for the back? Another set of bilstien rear shocks?
Second I was looking at a wheel and tire combo of the new mickey thompson sidebiter II in a 20x9. With a 0 OS

Or the fuel pump 20x10. With a -24 OS
And I would like to wrap them in a set of nitto trail grapplers. So my question would be what size tires could I fit with that particular level, and would the 20x10 cause more rubbing or clear from the extra offset?
Also those trail grapplers are offered in quite a few sizes for a 20" rim. I'm not necessarily trying to squeeze 35s under there.. I'd honestly rather stick around 33".
Just looking for some opinions.

Stick with the same brand front/rear. With a monotube you will get a firm/responsive ride. Some like this ride, while others don't. Most levels will allow for a 33 to a 35" tire. I am not a Nitto tire guy (nothing against them honestly just run other brands) but from what my friends say they are a perfect blend of off/on-road capabilities.
