headlight question.

Hey all. Got a question about headlights. I have a 2013 xlt, with normal headlights (not HID). The lights aren't the greatest/brightest I find. I don't know much about bulbs, so is there any good type I can replace my original bulbs with? I don't really want to spend the cash to upgrade to HIDs either, so I figured a better bulb may help.

If anyone has any tips or pointers let me know.

Sorry to say, NO bulb will be any brighter - the reflectors just plain suck, is all.

The link below leads to charts from Sylvania - so... straight from the source - same lumens, same MSCP across the board.

The above assumes staying within the OEM bulb wattage specification. You can run non-street-legal 80+ watt bulbs (requires wiring/socket upgrades, and hoping the housings don't melt).

Best to save up fer a proper retro or OEM HID drop-ins. Please - do NOT drop in a crappola PnP HID kit. Thanks in advance fer that.

good luck

Thanks for the info. I can manage with what I have for now. Good to know bulbs wont make any difference though. One day I may get some oem HIDs.
