how to turn on f150 back light?
I have a 2013 f150 ecoboost fx4, i was wondering if there is a way to keep the back light thats over the bed to stay on or turn it on, for example it turns on whenever i open the door or unlock my truck, but i haul motorcycles with my trailer and i like to check on them once in a while in my rear view mirror but i cannot do so in the dark.

Your only option (other than splicing wires) is to hold the dimmer switch all the way to the right, past the detent position, until all the interior lights come on. The cargo light will come on with the interior lights. Unfortunately, there is no way to turn on the cargo light separately from the interior lights. It's one of the things I wish Ford would start doing.
There is a major downside to this. If it's dark outside, and you turn the interior lights & cargo light on, you can't see into the bed anyway, because the glare from the interior lights renders your rear view mirror and back glass useless. It's very frustrating. That's why I don't even bother with the lights and I just carry a flashlight in the cab. You could also consider installing a battery powered LED light in the bed and just switch it on when you're hauling something in the dark.
