If I do, I'll post a thread about it. I see your from my neck of the woods, I'm just west of Cleveland, but still in Cuyahoga county.

Well, it has been three weeks since I got the fuel nozzle stuck in my truck, and now all of the sudden I am getting an error message on the display to "check the fuel filler inlet", so I guess I will need to make an appointment with my dealer. I have not filled up since then, (I don't drive the truck a whole lot over the summer), and I am at about half a tank.

Why did Ford have to change things, it's not that difficult to unscrew a fuel cap!

I've never had an instance where the nozzle was stuck in the tank, but on 2 occasions I've not been able to push the nozzle in the tank. Both times were at a Racetrac gas station. I assume if the nozzle is any way slightly bent, it will not go in.

They are going to have to replace the mechanism just like they did on ours, your sensors are not seeing the correct pressure or what ever the term is now due to the nozzle messing it up. I would keep your bills get your gas receipt and go back to the station owner and make them pay. Thats what I did they paid the entire repair bill.

Hey DougS,

Please PM your name, VIN, mileage, dealer, and best daytime phone number; I'd like to look into this.

Nick
