Any one know if the lic plate mount on a 5 litre can be moved to the d/side of the bumber?? If so how does the mount and rubber bumperet detach.

I think you can buy the rubber insert for an Ecoboost and swap them, but why do you want to move it?

Part number BL3Z-17811-AA is what you need, license plate bracket for an Ecoboost.

eBay you can get the kit. I thought about this as well. But the radiator and everything is above that behind the grill so I didn't see any benefit. Plus the 5 slow is pretty impressive tuned so no need to imposter an EB.

Yes (the offset license plate holder can be used on any 2009-2014 F-150 that has the 2(two) bumper pads - one on each side of the lower bumper opening). EXCEPTION: Raptor.

If so how does the mount and rubber bumperet detach.
Sueeze the tips of the mounting tabs (backside of the bumper) and remove the bumper pad. The license plate bracket/holder replaces (and uses the same mounting slots as) the bumper pad.

Moving the mount has nothing to do with a light bar or being an E/B imposter. Just perfer the look of the mount on the D/S.

Thanks for the info folks.

Many times you can find somebody to swap the liscense plate mount for the "bread Loaf" plastic bumper insert.

No, I tried to remove the bread loff but could not get my hand up behind the bumper to squeeze the tabs.

I tried the part number you posted and it does not exist, you left out a digit. The actual number is BL3Z-17E811-AA

I have the "broadleaf" brackets for sale if you still need to get them. I returned my original lease, which I had to buy them for. PM if interested.
