Need Help, Feel Foolish

My gf's 4 year old daughter has stumped me. She got the seatbelt wrapped around the right rear seat, and the seatbelt is set to retract lock mode. I can't get the seat down, or get the seat belt to release. Thoughts?

Maybe ask the 4 year old to figure it out?

Unbolt the bottom anchor. Seems like the only option. And then scorn her child.

Seatbelt anchor, or seat itself? Doesn't look to easy to access lower seat belt anchor...

AJ, I have a screw also and I've had the back seat out in mine for a system install. Looks like you may be able to pull the belt up and over the seat, it will take some work. If that don't work you may have to pull the 40 seat out, there are 2 bolts in the front and two in the back and two in the plate between the 60 and 40 sections. As a last resort, you may have to cut the belt.

Can you work a little bit of slack from the bottom through to the top? Doing this should release the catch and allow you to slowly pull belt out enough to unbuckle it.

Its hard to tell from the picture, but the belt is very tight at this point. There isn't slack left, I was trying to get it around the seat, and when that wasn't happening, I tried to get as much retracted in hopes the ratcheting function would release (like it does when you let the seat belt fully rewind).

Its not buckled, its just wrapped around the seat. I'll try to remove the seat, but I'm thinking cutting the best is my next option if the seat won't come out...

I'd unbolt the bottom seat belt anchor, or pull the pillar trim off the pillar and drop the pivot point (top anchor) off the truck
