DS sunvisor mount/clip broken..anyone else?

My driver side visor mount just broke..again. The first one was replaced by the dealer under warranty. The first one was warped where the post wouldn't clip in.
I rode with a co-worker today who has a 2010 and his had the same issue - clip was too big and post didn't clip in. My latest the tip just broke off.
Never had this problem before with my 97 or 01.. Just curious if its an issue for anyone else.
I know the dealer will probably get me another one..but this is becoming a nuisance.
TIA for the input

My 09 had the same issue on the passenger side visor...the clip seemed to have warped or stretched to where it would not clip in securely.

My 2010 broke the first week I had it, I haven't replaced it yet, it is very annoying.

I thought mine was the only that does it. Mine is a 09. I usually don't swing the visor to the door window, I just flap it down when the sun shines at my face through the windshield... and it would just pop out from the clip... very annoying. I think the plastic clip that holds the visor wears out too quickly, is there a metal clip version instead?

'09 F-150 visor clips

Both of mine broke @ about 37K miles...just out of warranty. Dealer would be thrilled to sell me new ones at $14 each!!! Why would I want to buy new @$#&% that is as "good" as the original?
