And if it breaks down put it on stock and not worry about it, They have to prove that the failure has to do with the programmer. otherwise tell em to stick it where the sun dont shine.

And if the break down has anything at all to do with the engine or trans, they'll tell you to F off and have a nice day haha. Everything I've heard and been told is that the dealer can tell if a truck has ever had a tune on it.

It's much worse that it's an EB, cause Livernois and others turn up the wick too much IMO. If it were up to me, I wouldn't warranty any truck with a tune on it, because it's not suppose to have one and you have no idea what Joe Schmo's done to "tune" it while in his basement before he emailed it to you. (I also have 5Star tunes on my truck, just said that for the sake of the argument.) Do you blame Ford? You turned up the boost and had a problem, not their fault.

I may be wrong, (doubt it, but it's possible ) just telling Connaway that he better be prepared to be denied any type of power train warranty if he tunes that truck.

Welp. That escalated quickly.
It would probably be a while before I would tune it. So I'll cross that bridge when I get there. Thanks for the ideas though. I'll let y'all know if the dealership finds anything of note.

Ok but dont watch any youtube videos of tuned Eb's. Thats what got me! First I went with 5 star and it was fast at first but not fast enough later down the road, Now im with Mpt and its fast enough for now.

Screw it, I'll just leave this here, incase you need to be swayed to the tuned side

5 star

MPT

Actually high 5 seconds, started the run at the 1 sec mark of the 6 sec video. Not bad for a little V6 uh?

What impresses me most is that he got 18.4 MPG doing it.
