I am on the horns of a dilemma. The lease on my 2012 ends the end of January, 2015. At first I was anxious to have the opportunity to lease a new '15, but have come to the conclusion that any discounting would be hard to come by that early in the production run. I am giving some thought to ordering a 2014 in hopes that pricing will be aggressive at the end of the production run. What I need to know is when will dealers stop taking orders on '14s. Maybe already too late?

 

I just ordered a 2014 Lariat and my dealer in Canada told me all orderers for the Lariats had to be in by June 25th after that the DB plant was closing for refitting

 

The best thing to do is ask your dealer, they should know when the order banks are going to close. They may be willing to work with you and get an early lease termination.

If you LIKE your 2012, have you considered buying out the lease and keeping it longer?
