OEM HID question

I was looking at adding HID headlights to my 2010 F 150. I was doing some research and found a video commenting on the OEM lights fluttering do to the design of the internal solenoid that operates the cutoff device for low/high beam. You can get a Hella projector to replace the OEM that is suppose to be better.

So question do notice this flutter in your OEM lights?

Yes you can get the evox-r projector from The retrofit source which will be a better projector than OEM, but you have to change to D2S system.
You can also buy the OEM HIDs from that same site. its the cheapest place I found so far..
There have been a few people on here complaining about the cut-of shield bouncing when going over bumps,, plus there have been accounts of high the shield sticking in high beam..

I noticed it over bigger bumps, but not enough to be bothersome.

And yes, the Evox upgrade is well worth it in my opinion.

I converted the headlights on my 2010 Lariat to the OEM HID's a little over a year ago and have noticed no fluttering. However, I did have trouble with the connector on the relay controller coming loose which caused the high beams to not work. No need to worry though, The Retrofit Source has already addressed the problem. They have revised their wiring harness to include an automotive style connector and redesigned relay controller. It is a high quality harness and I have had no problems with the new design.
