Firestone Ride Rite airbags - Damage from Frame Lift?

I just finished installation of the Firestone Ride Rite system. In the instructions it warns against lifting the truck using the frame (at the dealership, etc...).

Anyone with airbag experience know how serious this potential issue is? I plan on having bags deflated before a visit to dealer, but if they lift by the frame, I'm concerned about the potential airbag damage.

Thanks!

- Andy

PS Otherwise installation went well! I'll post up more pictures when I'm hooked up and ready for towing.

I think I saw (I know ) a socket style air bag mount that was supposed to eliminate this issue

air bag simply fits into the socket , then when lifted by the frame it allows the air bag to drop free without being ripped to bits

I think it may well have been for the firestone bags too but I can't remember who makes it

I'll dig around and see what I can find! I'm also looking at limit straps I can put on. I use something similar on my Jeep...
