Hey guys I have a 2011 lariat 6.2 with a Roush blower and a 5 star tune. Claimed 200 mph speed limiter on it, never plan on making it there but.... I have found a place I can test my top speed and it's topping out at around 245 - 250 kph.. It feels like a stock 160 kph limiter when it hits . Could it be just the gears maxing out or the D shaft or ???? I have Z rated tires on it so it's still kinda smooth haha but ya I'm stumped .. My next option is a JDM tune which I planned on getting anyway.

 

Check with 5 Star. Sounds like it still has a speed limiter - unless it's a RPM limiter kicking in.

 

I have spoke to mike and he said it's at 200 ... I also told him my shifts were way to hard and he never replied ... So I'm not begging for retune, but I'm also only in 5th gear at that speed as well, nothing like 6000 rpm either ...

Well it was nice being on the forum eh. When you go off the road and roll it 12 times the 2 1/2 ton truck will blow apart.
You'd be better off with a real race car, been there.
