Not impressed with the Tremor.

So I waited for the tremor to show up in dealerships in Canada.

Price tag of 47-48k and I find that really disappointing.

So I decided to build my own sport truck on Ford.ca with the 5.0 base engine.

STX 4x4 sport came out to 29k with all the options I wanted in blue flame. sure it does not have leather or 4.10's but who cares.

Considering what a few bolt ons do for the 5.0 engine ( not knocking the ecoboost ) why can't I get both engines in an affordable package like the STX reg cab short box?

Anyway this Friday I will be going to Ford and talking about ordering a truck with my configuration.

I totally agree, I've said the same thing. I wanted a Tremor at first but after seeing the stupid price tag then i have considered a Single Cab 5.0 which i can get for 25k or less then add on a bunch of performance goodies and still be under what a tremor costs.

I saw the cheapest tremor online the otherday here in texas.. I think it was 33k on sale.

Found it on my phone

Thumbs down Canada Ford rips us off

Hi,
They do not offer base combo's, you cannot get a GT mustang base, you can only get a loaded one for 10 grand more than the U.S.
Perry.

I absolutely love the Tremor, minus the price. You can clearly tell it was built out of left over parts considering it still has rear cup holders and vents. Has anyone driven one yet? I'm curious if the rear vents work because that actually could cool the cab off a lot quicker. Anyway, I would love to have a 4x4 with a 6.2. If they made a Tremor in that configuration and it not be almost $50,000 I would be all over that. Looks like my regular cab 5.0 STX 4x4 will have to do...

I drove one back in December, just to check it out as I already bought a truck. When they first hit the lots, the only rebate available was a $500 lease loyalty. That would put a loaded 2wd at $40,900, I paid $40,040 for a loaded FX4 screw with the engine I wanted and got everything I wanted on the truck for less than a Tremor would have cost me, and I have a real back seat too.

Yeah the Tremor was definitely not a good deal when it's the same price as a supercrew that is more useful because of the extra space, but if that's what makes ya happy then it's for you
