With or With-out (Finished)

I was at WalMart the other day & some ******* pushed a cart, with his vehicle into my truck & the handle of the cart busted my grille out. I just received my new billet grille. Do you think it looks better with or with-out the blue oval?

I think it looks better with. You can use a small piece of 3M double sided trim tape to affix the oval while you examine it on the truck from all angles then a lot if you go with it.

Your first picture looks like a gal I met in Arkansas a while back. I would have had to marry her and her sister to get a full set of teeth...........

I say with. I don't like grills without the emblem. 3M 20 lb outdoor mounting tape is the ish

Those grills are too plain looking with no emblem.

Another vote for the emblem in the grille. I'd fabricate a small set of brackets to go along with the tape others mentioned. I would there is not enough surface area on the grille to have good adhesion. But like many things in my life, I'm probably wrong on that too... But go for the emblem for sure!!!

Thx all. The emblem has 3 posts on the back two of the post are long enough to go all the way through the billet grille & have nutts to secure it. Good idea on the 3M tape, I will use some as well.

Svt, I think the nuts on the other end are a good idea. Cause the 3M I'd great, but needs a flat, full surface to be completely effective.

Hope you enjoy the new grill, Kramer, to make a positive out of somebody messing up your stuff!

With Finished

Thx all. Here it is finished. I got the polished grille from Grille World (E-Bay) $84 shipped. It did take a little "encouragement" to get it centered & flush. I think it turned out very good & I like better than stock.

We used the 3M tape (the white kind) on my 2003 and it was still stuck on nine years later when it was sold. That's nine years in the Arizona sun too.

Looks good. I liked the stock one a bit more but I have a thing for thick billet grills. Glad you kept the emblem on. I personally probably would have pulled a gun on someone doing that to my vehicle and walking off though.
