New toys on order

Well my good for nuthin uncle who borrows money from me every pay day finally decided to pay me back some of the money he borrowed (I got my tax return) so I bought a few toys for the truck.

Undercover flex bed cover, deezee bed mat, magnaflow 15461 SI/DO behind tire (harley-raptor style), 14" maggie si/do muffler to replace the 18" that comes in the catback, an AudioControl LC8i and an EQS to upgrade the sony setup, and all new Image dynamics speakers to replace the crap sony's. All said and done I just spent 2.9K on my truck.

And yesterday I bought a push button start system http://www.innovativeignitionsystems...m-31-rfid/cw16 and that was 480 with the add on pats bypass module.

When you have a house to write off and kids under 18 still at home and make 6 figures + you get good refunds.

I don't get returns, I get to pay more!

But I earn less than $20k per year working here and there, so no biggie haha. Actually, I haven't done my taxes yet . . . dammit . . .

You can also get raped by 39.5% income tax like my dad. No thank you! But that's still not a "fair share" so . . . we'll see how high it gets.

Audio stuff is expensive; I know how much I have in mine. The little things add up too. I'm just thinking that $3k is wheels and 35s money lol

Don't know the exact % I'm at but probably the same as your dad. I paid in around 27K to just the feds and only got back 13K.

I know that's the highest % you can get charged (thank God there's nothing worse, yet), but it's ridiculous. Pays for a Corvette every year and gets a Civic back

I know. It feels more like paying for a Ferrari and getting back a pinto.

You did get almost half back though, which really isn't bad. Don't get me wrong, it sucks pretty bad, but it could be much worse. Paying $14k total per year is manageable.

I likely won't make as much as my dad once I'm established because I'm not willing to be a high-level desk engineer like he is, I gotta do stuff with my hands and fit the engineering in somehwere, so in some ways, I hope I never get the pleasure of forking over 40% of my income to osama and his little establishment.

Yesterday the undercover flex showed up along with the DeeZee bed mat and the 14" maggie. The bed mat was heavier and thicker than I expected as I only paid 74 bucks for it. I'm beginning to like DeeZee products, they are really inexpensive and better quality than you would expect at that price point. I now have their bed mat and a tailgate assist on my truck and I'm very happy with both.

The undercover flex was what I expected. The reason I chose it over the Bakflip is it was cheaper and better designed.

I don't have any pics of them yet but I will, eventually.
