What to do to my (new to me) F150 XLT

So I just got an 09 XLT and wanted to either lift it or do like a 2.5inch level kit, what do you guys prefer? Also what size tires to go along with it? Was thinking 33inch or 35 inch. Opinions?

I love these . . .

A lift costs 10x more than a level too btw. But yeah, pics would be great.

I have a level now and I do like the look. I too was contemplating a lid or level and went with a level because it's a lot less money but... Now I want a lift. Sort of wishing I had just lifted it to begin with!

Endless possibilities.

For ideas, here is one of my builds with 2-inch front level only with 33s and +14mm 20x9 aftermarket wheels:

For a 2.5-inch level, here is another of mine with 34.5 inch tall tires on +18mm 20x9 wheels:

If you want to keep factory wheels, here is my 2013 with a 2-inch front leveling system and 33s before I modded it with a Fox/Icon system:

Finally, same 2013 with Fox/Icon adjustable coilover suspension system (0-3 inch) set at 2.25 inches with 33s pushed out a tad:

If you want to lift it, I like the 4-inch systems over the 6-inch as it keeps the truck more accessiblea and usable (plus still fits under standard height garage doors if you limit your tire height to 35 inches or under).

My 2009 with 4-inch system and 34.8 inch tall tires:

My 2011 with 4-inch system and 34.5 inch tall tires:

So many ways to go....have fun!

Beautiful trucks!

Would you mind sharing the exact tire size pictured on this white truck? Do you experience any wheel/wheel well clearance issues in heavy off-roading situations with that setup shown?

Thanks

Thanks EEEKo...my white 2011 XLT was wearing Nitto Trail 305/55R20s (33.4 inches tall and 12.4 inches wide); no issues at all with rubbing and no trimming was done during offroading. Any larger of a tire and I am sure I would have to do some trimming.
