Need help deciding what to do!

I have a black 2013 stx 5.0 2wd reg cab
I have a set of 2009 harley wheels
What i cant decide is what i want to do with my wheels, either put 305 45 22 cooper xsta (street tires) and level the rear of it.
Or put 305 45 22 cooper zeon ltzs (AT) and do a 1 to 1.5 front level.
Either way its just a street truck.
Thanks in advanced!

Drop it. Doing heavy tires will lower MPG and wear out your front end faster

Drop it coming from the dropping king lol- of course. I dropped my 2010 and had vibration issues, squeaky front end, pre worn tie rod ends lol. If i go with the street tires than i want to do i mild drop.

And thank you for the input, i love lowered street trucks and your silver truck is beautiful!

One vote for lowered truck!

I agree with Pat. I think that's your best overall option if'n yer dead set on not keepin' her stock. I think the NBS trucks look great lowered. Not too much, though.

How could you keep them stock lol.
Im a fan of old hot rod trucks and autocross so id like to combine the 2 looks.
Lowered a little and aggressive street tires.
Hell, maybe with some good tires and rear sway bars i might give the autocross track a try at good guys this year.

I have a couple new dents and scratches that need fixed digging into my budget tho, wife fell in the drive way and ran her purse down the side of the driver door and i hit it with the trash can, both places are dented/scratches to bar metal!! ready for this winter to be over!

Just a heads-up regarding your choice of tire size (305/45x22) ...

The sectional width is 12" which is wider than the stock tire size (285/45x22 - 10¾").

Combine that with the rim spec's (9" wide, 44mm offset, 6¼" backspace) and there may be (?) an issue with front upper control contact/rub. If not, it will be close. *Don't forget to compensate for some (albeit slight) sidewall flex.

Would recommend doing some physical measuring. Just sayin' ...

Thanks for the input- im aware that it may slightly rub but ive done my homework. 305 40's run perfect and read mixed results with 305 45

I say lower it 2" in the back. Maybe a 2/4, but nothing more. And I don't even like lowered trucks haha. I'd probably do 305/40/22 is you lower the front at all. Otherwise, the 45s shouldn't rub if you do a little trimming. Do you just the extra sidewall?

As for the scratches and dents, women . . .

Ya would just like a to retain a lot of the side wall, will be hauling the harley to sturgis next year and maybe Tennessee this year and haul little stuff all the time so i need a truck- not a car with a big bed like my 2010 that had a 3.5-5.5 drop and 275 44 22's.
Ya and the best part is shes wondering why someone would ever spend 1,000$'s to fix a couple scratches?? well ........ why did i have to build another closet to house your shoes?
