Yeah, what the heck are the burn marks for or from? I don't see anything in that pic, but I have no idea what it is I'm supposed to be looking for.

See the white/gray splotches with the holes in them? That should all be body color with the clips to the plastic bed rail cap poking through. The last pic is the best for seeing it (or worst, if you will).

Ahh I wasn't looking there. I wouldn't be happy, but to be fair, you have to be on your back inside your bed to see that.

That's a negative on the being on your back. The splotches at the middle and front of box are visible from a side view in the bed. And, further, these areas are no longer protected like they once were. Finally, it isn't the way it was when it went in.

In short, the shop thought I wouldn't see this, and tried to slip it past me. I know now they didn't take my cover off, and was their "solution" to saving some labor. Completely the wrong way to do it, in my opinion. And to think this shop is a preferred shop for my State Farm insurance. The shop guy sounded like on the phone that this happens sometimes with trucks; seems like to me there would be a checklist for making sure errors like this DON'T happen.

Mmmm I didn't know they were that bad and visible, nor did I think about it being like that because they didn't remove the bed rail cover . . . Yeah, that's a no no. I hope they own up to it! State Farm is the best, in my opinion, but it's still quite hard to find great shops.

There are no good shops around anymore. They are total ripoffs. Cheaper to do the work yourself. I am dealing with a headche of my own since the last snow storm with my 13 Subaru Outback.

Instead of replacing all the trim on the rocker and doors. They decided to cut the old one off and piece it together of a graveyardc car. SMH.. I guess the insurance company was mad becasue three of the six cars that were totalled, (one a Local PD car) and the others were " repaired".
