Thank you...it sure is better in person. This Ecoboost is really impressing me more and more. Even with 3.31's the low end torque is amazing and I'm averaging 17.4 for the first 600 miles. Just hope it hold's together!

What gears did you have in the old truck and what did you average in it? Do you have the heavier tires on this one yet?

My '11 had the 3.55's and with the P275x60x20 Toyo's I averaged 18.2 on the trip I took to Delaware last summer. The best I could do when I had the LT305x55x20's was around 17 mpg on a run to Maryland 2 yrs ago and that was mostly highway. Bridgestones on the '13 and they may stay on for awhile...too good of a ride to change right now!

Thank's...I've always liked silver because it's fairly easy to keep up. Hope the Raptor is treating you right!

The Plat in silver looks real nice Paw Paw....but, my '13 lariat is Ingot Silver so I could be biased

BTW: Your old truck was one of my favs when looking at level kit and tire combo's with the stock lariat 20's.

Thank's...dealer sold my old truck in about a week so it didn't stay on the lot long. Nothing wrong with a silver Lariat either...I wanted one in '04 but settled on an Arizona Beige because silver wasn't available that year. Hope you're enjoying your truck too!

Missed this new purchase, looks good! One of the few happy folks I have heard with a 3.31. Great truck overall, congrats!

Why wouldn't you be happy with 3.31's when you have a EB with its low end torque and the stump puller 1st gear in the 6R80?

Thank's Darren....I'm averaging right at 17.5 with a new engine so I guess the 3.31's are helping. The engine pull's just as hard as my son in law's with 3.55's so it's not bad...still can tow up to 9,200 lbs as opposed to my '11 with the 5.0 that was rated for 7,700. The low end torque in the Eco actually feel's like a diesel. I've put 1,100 miles on it in 3 week's and impressed with it so far!

1,500 miles so far and averaging 18.6 mpg on this tank using 87 Valero instead of Shell. Maybe the different gas and adding the bed cover helped!
