Well my local dealer finally got in a tremor, a black 4x4. The salesman, who is a friend of mine, let me take it out for a test drive and snap a few quick pics. Anyway don't waste your time or money to get one. Something I discovered while driving it, it has the manual HVAC controls like the XLT with the flowthru console and my ford touch. As a matter of fact, the lower right quadrant of the MFT that normally has the HVAC controls and seat heater controls just has a settings button for the MFT. Oh, and BTW, even tho it has the MFT, it does not have the sony speakers and amp and no sub. It has the basic speakers with the MFT headunit. Also the side mirrors don't have the turn signal built into the mirror housing like scab and screws do. Thats all I found that was missing but there probably is more.

On to the drive, well it's fun, and it will run. If you turn off traction control and RSC and turn on the diff lock and leave it in 2wd it will get sideways and smoke the back tires.

The interior trim is a matte finish black, instead of the silver/gray color of the normal FX2/FX4

All in all, it's not worth 46K for a 4x4 or almost 42K for a 2wd, but it does look cool.

 

Ive looked at 2 of them now (2wd), i'm the same way. Not to impressed with it especially with that ridiculous price tag.

Now i have been looking at a '13 STX 5.0 Blue Flame single cab.

They are pretty damn cheap at the moment.

 

Does it have Alcantanera (sp?) inserts in the seats? My Audi has that and I really like it.

 

Yes it does.

 

What irks me the most is ford bills the tremor as a reg cab FX2/4 with the 402A and appearance pack, but they strip out half of the goodies that a normal 402A comes with but they charge you full price for the upgrade anyway.
