OK, I have decided to start the new transformation of my XLT...Calling it Project "PREDATOR"
Trying to not look like a "clone" of a raptor but a tasteful step in the Off-Road performance direction. Gunmetal/Silver theme, NO Chrome. * I get that this build will NOT appeal to everyone...but I think I will like it!*

I have purchased the following and will update this thread as the build with pics as the build grows.

November 30 2013:
($100) - Splash Bed Graphics (Graphite/Gunmetal metallic)

($370) - Bushwacker Extend-a-Fender Flares
(Like these but painted Silver to match truck)


Dec 2nd 2013:
($500) - Raptor Crew Cab Side Steps Brand NEW on CL


Dec 3rd 2013:
($100) - 2013 STX Grille off CL
(Needs to have trim ring painted and center painted Gunmetal)


Taking in the Grille Surround, Flares & Mirror Caps in for paint next week.
Trying to find a Painted Bumper F&R and going to Plasti-Dip the badges Gunmetal.

Cool! Should look great when your done! I'd love to mod up my 2012 or trade for a 13/14 or that ford would show us the 2015 F150 already so I can get to modding something!

Yeah Trading in for me just didnt make sense cause the truck only has 15k miles on it. Plus to get a Raptor would have costed me my truck + $25k (Thats a whole other truck lol) Gotta pay to play they say I guess.

I will say the bed graphics are growing in me. Thought about putting a matte black set on once I'm lifted.

 

Like Pizzaman said there is a "Predator" kit out there but this will be my version.
P.S. The Graphics came in today...Im gonna have to wait to put them on and it is killing me! haha. The Custom color looks great too!
Fender FLares are tracking to be here tomorrow, then it is off to the painters after mock up. I will get pics of the test fit if I can.

Where did you get the graphics at? Pics?

 

I'm a big fan of the Raptor-style graphics on lighter-colored trucks for some reason. A member on here has them in black on a white 07 screw and I think they look great.

Between the flares, steps, and graphics, you'll have the general population fooled!

 

Ebay, I don't yet have any pics of them installed on the truck. that won't be until closer til Christmas
the goal is to fool myself..... into believing I don't need a raptor! Lol
