Potential Buy: 2011 XLT 3.7L. Thoughts?

really? im willing to bet money the 3.7 will eat the 4.6 2v for breakfast lunch and dinner in an all out drag. there's more to the equation than just torque when it comes to getting a truck moving. and the 4.6 2v only beats the 3.7 peak torque by 16 ft lbs.

also go look at some dynographs for both engines. i think you will be rather surprised.

iv had a few 4.6s in pickups and cars. pulling the 3.7 will match or out pull a 4.6 2v. I have not drove a 4.6 3v with under 500 rwhp so I cant say how a stock one works lol
