I have a 2012 extended cab that I am trying to remove the rear seat back to remove the back glass. I can flip the seat cusion up and remove the center head rest (the side ones seem to hit the headliner when raised) I have seen some things for the 2009-2011 but I have been told that the 2012 is differnt in the removal process. Any and all help is appreciated. Thanks

 

If you are talking about removing the headrests, I have done in on my 2012 extended cab. The center one comes fairly easy as you say but the left & right ones require a lot more effort. They will come, it just requires a lot of pulling and I did not try it but wonder if one took off the cover if it would not help.

 

are you asking about folding down the seat backs? There is a pin behind the seat you need to pull on. Then the seat backs fold down
