4.6 to 5.0...

I decided a couple of week ago to get me a new truck and be a good son. My parents vehicle's are not in the best shape. So, after 6 1/2 years with my 4.6 xlt and only 50,xxx miles on it, I gave it to my parents.

To replace my 07 xlt, I picked up a 13 FX2 5.0 in tuxedo black. I got a great price on it. It was end of quarter and end of month. Here is a bad pic (cell phone), I was going to get some better ones, but it was raining today.

I decide to go with the 5.0 because I don't tow anything and the rebates that came with the engine. This truck is plenty fast for me. I got me some goodies to hopefully install tomorrow. As you can tell black and red are my favorite colors.

I plan to switch out my stock wheels and tires with my dad. At least I think I can without any issues?? I think I'll have to switch out sensors. I love the FX2 style wheels from 08. I think they are from 2008. I may even powder-coat them.

Oh, if I want to go fast, I just drive this:

Nice choice! Tuxedo Black is where it's at. And though I like the new FX wheels better, they should swap out no problem. You'll love those app. pkg. badges though, I even have them on my 06! Let us know how those overlays fit/do too. Who/where'd you get them from?

That GT500 is pretty damn nice too haha. Wondered why you only have 50K on a truck that old

Sweet truck, but sweeter Stang. I have an 06 F150 and just bought a 93 Mustang GT. I had as an 83, 85, 88 GT and a 93 Cobra. Of course all Fox bodies. The 93 I just bought is all stock, and has not been abused. Engine is strong and Tranny shifts well. Has some rust and a few other things that need some work. It's a project car, but with a little TLC and some man hours, It's going to be a joy to have. Enjoy the rides

I got the badges off of ebay. I believe the seller was a Ford dealership. It should be a direct swap for the side and tailgate badges.

Yeah, old truck wasn't driven too much. Basically, I work for a software company. I am/was part of the implementation group. So I just really just drove the truck to the airport and back. I traveled about 90 percent of the time. I have a new position now where I travel only about 15 percent of the time.

When i went looking for the stang, I was going to get a GT. Some how I ended up with a GT500. I had it about 1 1/2 years now. Its a 2011. Of course, the modding bug hit me. I have recently installed a 13 tvs, Kenne Bell BAP, 72 lbs injectors, 65mm FRTB, and a 123 JLT intake. i haven't dynoed it yet, but looking for 675-700 rwhp. Here is a pic:

Thanks! I'm glad for you that you get to travel less now, not a chance in hell I could do that. But holy crap . . .
