Correct me if I'm wrong please.

I have been reading that the 2012 5.0 motor has a Synthetic blend in it but the 2013 uses full synthetic if I read my owners manual correct, if so why the change for the 13's ?

I just downloaded the owner's manual, and it says the same thing it's said for the past 10 years - use EITHER Motorcraft 5w20 synthetic blend OR Motorcraft 5w20 full synthetic.

My owners book says nothing abought syn blend.

Page 424 of your owners manual. It is a chart of fluids and capacities. It states for the 5.0, use syn blend or full synthetic, 5w20. 2013 manual states exactly the same thing.
