new truck, towing question

Picked up my new EB Scab today, has a whopping 110 miles on it now. I just found that the owners manual says no towing until 1k miles. My son wants to go 4 wheeling tomorrow... Is it really going to hurt anything if I pull a 6x12 landscape trailer with about 700# worth of quads on it? I only need to go about 15 miles with them...

Fill it up with premium gas, hook it up, no wide open throttle, vary your speed, and keep it under 70 mph.

You know what I did coming off the dealership lot? Dropped it into manual mode with only 1st gear selected and took off and hit 5500rpms before shifting into 2nd. Hard accelerations and coasting helps fully seat everything engine wise. Now granted I didn't tow anything heavy until 1000 miles, the towing is more for the rear end than anything. I've seen people by f350's and immediately hook up to 15k and 200k later still going strong.

Point is, drive it normally and just purposely accelerate aggressively and coast every so often.

Exactly, I drove mine HARD for the first 400 miles, then drove it easy for a couple hundred then back to hard for the last 400.. Got a weird burning smell coming off the turbos a few times but havent smelt it again in about 11,000 miles.
