Anyone else's tailgate emblem falling off?

Hi All,
Closed the tailgate yesterday and notice my Ford emblem looked like it wasn't sitting right. Got ahold of it and it was barely holding on there. It's attached with black 2-sided-adhesive gasket type material and only about the bottom 1/2" was still adhered to the emblem. Luckily I caught this before it fell off on the road!!
Anyone else notice this on theirs?

Truck's going in tomorrow for some electrical issues with the windows so hopefully they will handle this for me too under my extended warranty.
BTW...2009 XLT SCrew.

Have a good one everyone!
-Mike

Is your extended warranty bumper-to-bumper? If not, 3M makes some great double-sided adhesive trim tape which is also great for do-it-yourself stuff jobs around the house. If the dealer does replace your emblem, try to get the old one back, just in case.

No, but mine looks like crap.... Almost like it is delaminating... (not sure that is a word).

GGG - yes my extended warranty is bumper to bumper.
Thanks for the lead on the 3M tape. If I wasn't already scheduled to go in to the dealership for my window issue I would probably just tackle this myself.
As you said, ideally I will come out of this with a new emblem installed and the old one in-hand for blackout experimentation!!

I don't think an extended warranty covers any trim on a vehicle.

Paint isn't covered, either.

Or water intrusion.

Original 36,000 mile warranty and these items are covered.

Extended warranty: NOT

High-ster - I figure it can't hurt to ask and give them the chance to step up. If they say no, I will fix it myself.
But I probalby oughtta pull out that warranty and check all the fine print tonight.
