Vehicle health report not working

Anyone else having problems running a vehicle health report? I haven't been able to run one since my truck was new. I keep receiving a notice that states report can't be ran at his time?

I believe it has to be toggled "on" in the info screen.

I turned mine off long ago.

Do you have a phone hooked up to your bluetooth? and is it on and working when you attempt to send? It should send thru your phone for connection...

A vehicle health report is a redundant version of your Check Engine Light. If your light is not on, your vehicle health is "good."

I completely understand that, but for the price of this truck it should work. I know several other people who are having the same issue.

The VHR is useless. I think mine worked once in 2010 and that was it. Never was able to run it again. You will find a ton of other members with the same story. I believe everyone eventually just says " the hell with it" and turns it off.

Exclamation

the truck has to be running at least 2 minutes for a report to generate.
Just an FYI, might not be your issue or not.

It also has to be setup correctly in SYNCMYRIDE.com......

I have checked my setting several times to make sure everything is correct. I've been on syncmyride to many times to count to make sure nothing has changed on my account. I haven't changed anything since I purchased my truck. I too have only had this option work once since the truck was new. I know it is basically a useless function, but it should work either way. I have been a die-hard Ford truck fan all my life and am starting to get rather aggravated with Ford...I had just a few minor warranty issues with this Lariat when I purchased it. One would have thought I needed to give blood to get Ford to correct the problems. I work at a GMC dealer,we never give owners any problems when they find issues with their new trucks..

This probably isn't your problem but with mine I have an issue with Bluetooth, Sync and my Windows Phone (seeing that no one has Windows Phones that is why I don't think it'll be your problem).

Anyway the issue is related to the phone going into privacy mode on the first Bluetooth call. I can solve it on my setup by initiating a VHR and on the phone switching from Bluetooth to speaker and back to Bluetooth. The VHR then goes through.

This makes the manual VHR work but because I've never noticed the automatic VHR go through I can't do the switch then. I've just turned it off until they address the issue.
