front bumper guards

has anyone done anything with the front bumper guards? Two useless slabs of plastic. Seems like a perfect spot for integrated lights or something.
So a Platinum yesterday with a license plate mounted over the left one. Looked like crap, all off center.

The Platinum you saw was an EcoBoost. The license plate is offset to increase airflow to the intercooler. I can't stand the plastic either, you may want to check out the Harley Davidson bumper its a lot cleaner look, although pricey.

It was a Texas plate. Thank God , Louisiana doesnt require a front license plate.
Perhaps some RI flush mount LEDs would look good.

Haha yeah I don't run a front plate. Never have, never will. I need to fill that gap with something though...I have never thought about modifying those "useless slabs of plastic" but I agree, something needs to be done.

I like the look of that a lot. At least on that Raptor. I have the chrome bumper on my XLT so I'm not sure how that would look. But I love the concept
