Front & Rear Hellwig Bars Intstalled

Finally got around to throwing on the new sway bars. Trucks handles much better now with less sway. Still rides the same. Not a bad investment at all.

Not much difference is size with the stock bar.

I think the stock bar is 1 3/8in. and the Hellwig is 1 1/2in.

That's one of my favorite upgrades I've done to my truck. It really changes how the truck handles without affecting ride quality. How close are your rear links to the leaf springs?

Can't wait until spring when I buy a rear one. Too much body roll

Yeah the bars really help to keep that body roll in check.

2Tall, take a look below and let me know if that answers your question

Thanks, mine are about the same. I hear a popping occasionally, but I read on another forum it's probably the leaf springs rubbing against each other. Got any other handling mods planned?

I'm was thinking belltechs and shackles, or bilstien 5100s set a .5 to .75" and stiffer 4wd sized all season or all terrain. I'd like to lower it, but I live on a farm so lift and tires are more practical.

No popping here. The front bar popped once at full lock when I first put it in. All has been well since. This is the first I have heard on the rear bar popping.

I don't believe my popping is the bar. There are no visible signs of contact between the leafs and end links and all mounting is solid. It only happens after the truck sit and quits after a few dips and bounces in my drive way.

Yeah I cant see how the rear bar would cause any popping noises. You're probably right on the springs. Does your truck have the 3 or 4 leaf pack? Mine has the 4 leaf. I recently through a rear bar on my dads truck and he has the 3 leaf pack. The only difference is that I have 20s and the 5.0 and he has the 18s and the Ecoboost. Both trucks have the tow package.
