tire balancing price
the prices mentioned in this thread are crazy... the Ford dealership I previously worked at charged $60 to mount and balance 4 new tires and dispose of the old ones (fun fact - that doesn't cost the dealership anything at all, some Mexican guy with an old Toyota pickup comes and takes them) no matter the size, clip or tape weight, whatever. I thought that was about average.

Places I used to be able to get 5 gallon buckets of wheel weights from no longer can give them to me. I shoot competitively and reload, and melting the lead and casting my own rounds was cheap and easy, but Im afraid its a bygone at this point.
How long ago was that? The only reason I ask is because things have changed A LOT thanks to the EPA.
