2013 XLT Supercrew 5.0L V8

Just picked mine up the other day and will post pics soon. Just a quick exhaust question. Like I said, it's a 5.0L V8 and I'm looking for a deep, throaty, aggressive sounding exhaust. I can NOT stand the sound of the crackle exhaust. Any suggestions? Trying to keep this mod under $500.

Might be a little aggresive but I picked up a single in dual out flowmaster 10 and it sounds amazing

Roush kit is the most impressive I've ever heard on a truck. I can hear my brother way down the street on light take off. It's so deep. I'm so envious and mine is nothing to scoff at by any means.

i put a flowmaster 40 series on my 2011 5.0. its nice and quiet at idle but it'll talk to you once you step on it. not raspy either. i wish i could've been able to find JUST the Roush kist muffler but no one sells just the muffler. the Roush kit is very impressive for the 5.0.

From examining it the 12" round xr1 is your best bet.

Borla. Do you want to go single in/single out like it is or do you want to do a single in/dual out setup? Just a muffler swap with si/so would be cheapest. I am unsure if you can get just the muffler from Roush though. I haven't given them much thought as I am pretty much set on Borla. I just cannot decide on the XR1 or the ProXS/Turbo XL.

The xr1 is Borla but Borla usually makes the mufflers for roush. It looks like the 12 xr1 so I'd be willing to bet they sound nearly identical. Its loud to most people. From hearing it myself its near perfec for my tastes but I prefer louder exhausts in general. The tone is killer and the thump thump at idle is awesome

I want whatever setup would get me a loud, aggressive sound. I've been watchin a bunch of youtube videos of 2011+ 5.0's but its hard to tell what it'll sound like in person.
