Cool Honestly how small is a supercab?!

Everyone says dont get a super cab but honestly how small can these back seats be? Iam looking to buy a 2010 supercab lariat with a center console. I dont drive passengers all the time but i like to drive people on occasion. Will the backseat be comfortable enough for girls about 5'8? can the passengers seat be moved up comfortably to add room for the back seat. I dont have the money to get a supercrew in this year but i need to know if i can still transport adults. The bed size/overall length/turning radius are all fine with me for either. thanks for your input.

I'm not sure if the new body style has more cab room in the SCab than the 04-08's but in my 04 you can fit 2 adults without being too cramped. I don't think my drivers seat or passenger seat has been moved forward or backwards since I've gotten my truck. If I have 3 people in the back seat though it's pretty crowded.

My dad had an 07 SCrew with a 6.5' bed and it was noticeably longer when parking and the turning radius didn't seem to be as tight as mine. He had it for 5 years and always complained about how long it was.

If you're not hauling people around all the time I'd say go for the SCab. Gives you more cab room when you're by yourself and easier to maneuver. Just be sure to tell the idiots that's riding with you to shut the back door first. I've had my front door slammed shut a few times while the back door was wide open. That's the only complaint I have about the Scab.

You can still transport adults. They may not be comfortable, especially for long distances, but that's their problem.

In my 2002, my 6'4" uncle can fit in the back with the passenger seat moved up a little and my 6'2" dad can still fit in the front.

The seats in the new supercabs are definitely more comfortable than the older styles in my opinion.

My only complaint is all the shimmying and shuffling you have to do with the doors and yourself in tight parking spaces, if you want to open the rear door. Once you get used to it then its not that bad, but still a little bit of a hassle some times. See if you can pull a car up next to the truck so you can see what I mean.

I have two 2003 screws, and if I were to buy a new truck today it would be a 5.0 Scab

The back is definitely tighter for passengers, but if they wanna complain they can drive themselves

I went from a crew cab to super cab and haven't had any issue. Unless you're hauling multiple people around in the back, all the time, it is hardly noticable. I'm 6' 2" and I can fit an adult behind me, if necessary. The crew cab definitely offers more room and is easier on the backseaters - but when I had my crew cab, I hated the shortbed...and I'm not special ordering a truck, so I settled on my super crew with a real bed

My mutt 'Stormy' has never complained.

He weighs 80 lbs.

He likes it back there.

It was either the backseat or the "ruuf".

had company from Europe last summer when i had a Scab and they never complained.
I'm on my first crew now and am not a fan of it. Don't really need that extra room back there,
Wanted a 6.5 bed which made the new truck over a foot longer.
Only reason i went with the Screw is that i wanted the Platinum
Scab's go up to the Lariat. Crew on models above.

Don't buy a Crew for the occasional passenger/s.

The 09+ scabs have plenty of room for occasional passengers. I would only get a super crew if extra room was a necessity. (children, dogs, etc.)

My son in law has no problem hauling mama and the 3 kids around occasionally in his 98 Scab, which has less room back there than the new ones. One of the kids is 6'1" and 285 lbs, he can sit in the back behind the driver (6'4" and 265 lbs) without too much discomfort.

yep, I would have boughten a KR instead of my FX4 had they still offered it in a supercab. There is no reason they shouldn't offer it.

It won't be very comfortable for adults. It will feel cramped. There will be some discomfort on long and short trips. The opening of both doors to let the passengers in and out is a hassle.

In an XLT the supercrew 6.5 is only about $2500 more than the supercab 6.5. The supercrew will also have more interior storage and the large flat load floor. I would take a couple more months and save up for the supercrew because it is a nice option to have but I understand if you don't want it.

Ive had both and while the Crew does have more room, the SCab has served me well. I am able to put a carseat in the middle, fit 2-3 adults in the back without being too cramped and whatnot.

Like mentioned, unless you are transporting a truck FULL all the time, I think Supercab is the way to go. The only thing I hate about a SCAB is that the back door doesnt open all the way back like other trucks. It it would swing back all the way, it would make parking lots easier. But it does suck when someone parks next to you and you want to try and put stuff in the back. That is my only complaint
