Not rear facing seats I bet. I had a rear facing seat in my 04 SCAB and I had to push the front passenger seat as far forward as it would go for the kid seat to fit, making the passenger seat useless.

I own a crew cab and just had a loaner super cab for 3 days and would have no complaints with one. I like the bigger bed size for sure. The crew cab is just a little more car seat friendly.

Ive had both and with my current 2012 SCrew I sometimes catch my self thinking what if I had gone for the Scab Lariat.

Screw is massive inside, I find the flat area in the back is perfect for my dogs crate. (It did fit in a supercab wedged in the seats and scratching the interior). Anyway I went for the supercrew for a few reasons.. got a good deal, holds its resale value, I only needed a 5.5 bed and now if I get another dog or have a kid I dont need to upgrade my vehicle.

If you are planning to fit aftermarket subs in you might find a tight fit in a supercab.

SCAB is F$%#N tiny.

SCREW is F%$#N tiny with 3 car seats/dog/gear.

I need a 6 door F650 sometimes.

It's all what you need bro.

Fortunately for us Ford guys we can get a SCREW with a 6.5 bed, but no 6 door extended SCREW option yet.

I dont have the money to get a supercrew in this year but i need to know if i can still transport adults. The bed size/overall length/turning radius are all fine with me for either. thanks for your input.
I'm sorry, I read your post and the first thing I thought was:
"YOU IS A PIMP!"
I guess it was the fact that you cited specific heights of the girls. Then I got all giggly. Like maybe they couldn't be over 5'8", had to have junk in the trunk.... I understand the super cab over the super crew. The pimp hand is strong but it may not reach so you want them closer.
I understand your plight and I feel you.

As I understand it, the '09 to current supercab is roomier than the '04-'08 models as Ford allegedly lengthened the cab somewhat. In my '04 I can leave my seat exactly where I like it, and haul around 6+ foot tall people in the back seat all day long. My Dad has shrunk over the years so he is now 5' 10 and has some pretty serious mobility problems, and he has no problems getting in / out of the cab, and found the back seat comfortable. (he insisted on riding in the back go figure...). The only thing I do not like about the super cab versus the crew is the direction the rear doors open, and tight parking lots. The suicide doors on my model anyway, only fold out 90 degrees, so getting things like groceries in the back seat is a PITA.

All in all, I wouldn't trade my SuperCab for a Super Crew. Not that I don't like them, but the added interior room just doesn't make up for the added turning radius / parking hassles... Or worse, a stubby bed.

What car seat were you using? We've had no issues with that...

The 09+ supercab doors are the same length as the 04-08, the 09+ supercrews now use the same length door as the super cab which in turn makes the cab bigger and giving back seat passengers more leg room.

The new style SC's are 8" longer in the passenger area than the previous style.

I've rid around my pals (6'-4", 260lbs+) for hours and no complaints.

They all say they are comfy and have plenty of leg room.

If I had needed more room for the passengers, I'd have bought either a station wagon, or a Screw.

I had three xcabs for 10 years. I liked them in my early 20's. I took friends ATV'ing to Colorado and Pheonix, AZ from Dallas, TX. It was cramped. The worst part is the lack of real doors. I wish my F250 had been a crew after 150k miles of ownership. Since then everything I own has 4 doors. The 2010 crew is the nicest F150 yet. Work buys xcabs and the lack of a rear door sucks.

What do you really need?

The SC is perfect if for a majority of the time you will have only two occupants. If you occasionally have a couple extra riders the back seat is fine. If you have baby seats or frequently have extra riders go with four doors. Baby seats don't fit well and having to open the front door to let passengers out gets old.

I bought one because I only occasional have extra passengers. I like the 6 1/2 foot bed and it fits in the garage. And I like the way it looks much better.

My next truck will have 4 real doors. I have my seat all the way back and people cannot sit behind me. I'm not even a big guy 5`10"ish 190lbs. I just don't want a shorter bed but 4 door with the 6 foot bed is odd looking and makes the truck to long

I don't understand all of the comments about the 5.5' bed on the Crew cab...if you're buying new, just be specific that you want the 6.5' bed and make the dealer do some work for you. My local dealer found one for me without a problem.

We have Britax and Graco convertible car seats and they would not fit in the Scab easily when they were installed rear-facing. I also use the flat floor area for hauling fragile test equipment and other things for my work at least a couple times a week, which wouldn't fit in the Supercab. If you're taking long trips passengers will appreciate the extra space as well. They will fit more comfortably in a Crew cab. That's more your decision than the passenger's, though. If they complain they can find an alternate mode of transport.

To me, the extra room has been well worth it. My truck is a good bit longer; but I typically back into parking spaces and also park away from other vehicles whenever possible anyway, so it hasn't been an issue.
