Glad to hear it made it, Hammer. I'm told that all invoices have gone out so, if you all that signed up haven't seen one, please let me know.

Thanks, guys.

Thanks, FX4life. It was a pretty decent deal for 'one stop shop' OEM. I love mine and after dealing with the seller and understanding how the first quality lights are less expensive than other OE vendors (they pass through less hands = less markups), I wanted to attempt to get the same opportunity for the site... it worked out that we could and I'm glad a few were interested in taking advantage of it.

For those who didn't get in on the deal I found this. It's a set of complete chrome headlights. I want black or I'd buy them myself.

The seller mentioned that a couple of folks paid early today -- not sure who but, he mentioned that he shipped today. Enjoy.

Again, sorry about your loss. Been there and have done that -- it's memorable for all the wrong reasons.

As far as flareside saying the retrofit guy is a better deal than what Rockpick came up with, I don't see it. The warranty periods are both reported to be the same, 12 months from Ford, 12 months through this guy. The difference is the retrofit guy is a one man show from Canada. If he stopped doing business tomorrow, your warranty would only last as long as he stayed in business or chose to deal with you. Also, with a retrofit, the factory warranty on the OEM lights used would be voided. There is also the risk of shipping where he states, "Headlights received damaged will not be refunded and return shipping is the purchaser's responsibility." So I don't really see the advantage over what Rockpick offered in a straight up OEM deal form Ford. The guy could say no returns on the ebay listing but you aren't buying from there and he cannot really say no returns if he accepts PayPal. If he accepts PayPal he has to do returns or risks losing the item and the money.

If that is equal to everything in the deal Rockpick offered that is a good deal. Eventhough they are used they look like new.

I'm not going to get into specifics because I'm not a vendor here, but you are completely wrong. My reputation for customer service is as good as it gets. In regards to damaged headlights, that is for clients who choose to send me their lights and do not pack them properly.

My family depends on the income and I retired from the Navy after 21 years to do this job specifically...

...but what do I know, I've only retrofitted over 60 pairs of F150 headlights and I am currently booked into May 2013. I'm obviously doing something right!!!

Get your facts straight!

My facts are straight. I am responding to the nasty comments left by your supporter, flareside, about Rockpick's warranty and products offered. If your friend wants to talk smack about warranties and products offered, the bottom line is this. Who would I rather deal with? A one man show up in Canada who if he stopped doing business tomrrow I would have no recourse and a voided set of OEM lights, or Rockpick's OEM Ford warranty that I can deal with locally backed by Ford. I am sure your products and service has been great so far and will continue to be, but your suuporters should not be making these nasty comments about Rockpick and the OEM Ford products.

I don't even know flareside! The components I use have a much longer warranty than 1 year!

Whatever, so far this forum has been a very negative experience. I'm done!

We are just having a discussion here. Rockpick was just trying to help some people and provide a service before lots of negativity was started by one of your supporters for a competing product.

Good luck with your business. No hard feelings.
