Projector headlight help!

I got a set of projector headlights for my 2011 f150 for christmas last year(think they're spyder auto ones with unknown hid's in them) When I start the truck and put it into drive they flicker then go out and when I turn the headlights on sometimes they'll turn on and sometimes they won't? Is there a way to fix this? I dont really want to have to buy new headlights, is there a way I can just replace the ballast and bulbs? Thanks!!!!!

Assuming you have a normal access cover on the back, you should be able to replace the bulbs and ballasts

Do you know if the ballasts are seperate from the headlight?
