I wonder if anyone can photoshop the grill red for the Dawg. Maybe both with and without the honeycomb red too? I still think it will look stunning in red.

I don't remember whose truck this is, but here are some shots where he painted the surround and left the inserts platinum. I still think it is too much red especially with now that I have the red topper too.

Somebody photoshopped this for me where the surround is platinum but the inserts are black. I sort of like this combo.

I've loved all of your trucks... This one is no exception. Once again, way to go. I like the red wheel inserts. Ties them in perfectly.

Maybe for the grille: Just get a Ford emblem painted red with chrome lettering? more subtle.

Hey Desert Dawg. Did you have to do any fender trimming? I read on the Fabtech site you have to do some fender trimming to fit 35". What size tires do you have? Which Fabtech system is it, Basic or Performance? What are your thoughts on the Fabtech lift?

Thanks,

He had mentioned that these Nittos were 34" tall. Maybe that's close enough to not have to do trimming?? I'm interested in knowing this as well.

locster; no, I did not have to any more trimming than what I had already done for my 2.5-inch leveling system where I had trimmed about an inch of the fender where it turns into the wheel well and had to trim some of the front air dam. But no rubbing at all.

My tires are 295/60R20s which are 34.5 inches tall.

I went with the basic Fabtech system since my offroading is fairly tame (mostly mountain trails and some easy desert trailing). I couldn't be happier as the truck is riding a lot smoother with the Fabtech replacement shocks over the harsher riding leveling system with factory shocks.

Yes, they are 34.5 inches tall and approx. 12.3 inches wide on the 20x9 wheels.

Hey Dawg, did he by chance photo shop a red insert too? Just playing with the ideas.

Very nice, as expected. I like you're new bed cover. I don't think I've ever seen one like that with the bars.

hey ruffn-it! Thanks! Yeah, I really like how it looks with the built in roof rack. Seems to tie in well with the rest of the truck.

Another view:

Sorry to bring up an old thread, but wanted to comment your truck looks Great! I looked at those Snug tops, but they said they don't make them for the 6.5 bed. :-(

Good Job!
