Can anybody tell me if the 2013 F150 that have the HIDs be programmed to have the daytime running lights like the previous models?

According to page 92 of the 2013 F150 manual it states:

The system turns the headlamps on with a reduced intensity output
(halogen headlamps) or turns the front turn lamps on (HID headlamps)
in daylight conditions.

To switch the system on, ignition must be in the on position, then switch
the lighting control to the off, autolamp, or parking lamp position.

Here's a link to the whole manual:

Try that link then and put in the year/model etc... no login required... which takes you to the link above. It must set a session variable to allow access from the fleet website and not a direct link.

None of the links above work for me, any other information that will allow or lead me to get the DTRL's system operational ? Is it actually possible ?

I just bought a new FX4the other day with the HID's and would really like to have the turn signal running lights working. I did this on my previous 07 Tacoma I just traded in, that was a few relays, pretty simple except for a few stripped knuckles ! That was a really good truck but was needing something bigger, I think anyway ! I did not like the Tundra at all, the FX 4 is pretty cool, I hope it works out well for us.

You need to take it to the dealer and he programs them.

In order to have the turn signals act as running lights takes an added aftermarket module.
Headlight DRL's can be programmed by the dealer (for a slight fee).
