Zeon LTZ or Terra Grapplers 305/55/20

I know!

I have yet to see any of these tires other than online. I like the look of the Coopers but hear the Terras are a better tire. These will be going on a FX2 with stock 20's with a 2" Auto Spring lift kit already installed. They are both similar prices so that's not an issue, other than the fact I can't find these for under $315. Input, recommendations.....

Your going to find alot of information on this question in the Wheels/Tires sections. Look through there and search for it if you don't see any threads. Most guys went tend to favor the Terras. I have them myself and love them.

My brother got the Zeons on his 08.. I think we where all a bit unimpressed at their performance. He barely got 25k out of them on mostly highway miles. His where stock size, 275/55/20

I'd go with the nitto TG's or the new Toyo OC ATII

Cool

I got a set of the Cooper Discoverer AT3's this time last year. I now have about 16,000 miles on them and they still look new. I use the truck in the hills of West Virginia and these tires are great. Can't tell you about the Zeons though.

Only problem with my Terra's is that they are real close to the upper control arm on the inside but no rubbing in 21k miles.

I am pretty set on getting the Terras after reading reviews. My question now is, should I get the E rated or not? I tow a boat seldomly, would I have problem not going with E rated tires?

They make an XL version of the 305x55x20 which is in between a P and the LT rating. It's a little narrower also which would give a little more clearance on the inside. This would be more then enough tire for your need's.
