Turn Signal Flashing Fast

Ok I have a 2010 F-150 FX4 and I noticed the other day, that when I turn on the right turn signal that it blinks really fast. Meaning that a bulb is about to be bad?
So how do I know if it's the front or rear bulb that's about to go out?

usually means one is already out. Flick it on and walk around the truck.

Yes most of the time this means the bulb is about to go bad. It could also be the relay switch but most often is simply a bulb.

When the light comes on it fills with voltage and creates resistance which then triggers the relay to turn off. When the bulb is about to go out it doesn't provide the proper resistance and will cause the relay to switch on and off quicker.

Another thread states when the rack and pinion go south (on the 11's), the turn signals fail to operate.

So if you had an '11, I'd say a rapid blinker means the tranny is gonna grenade.

Depending of course if was the right or left, front or rear.

First I think: "How can someone be so dumb and don't walk around the truck"

Well.
I spent all day trying to figure out why my truck (after I installed front 3157 LEDs) had hyperflash on the left side, but not on the right side. I installed different resistors, switch the bulb sides and nothing. (almost 2 hours testing, cutting wires a making connections) Then I joined this old forum and BINGO. The rear have 2 damn bulbs in each side "I forgot that there's two flashing lights in the rear" (the bottom one was dead) . So I feel a lot more dumb than you do now.
Your small mistake save my day
Thanks a lot

Too bad you didn't read this before cutting wires.

I had this on my 09 but as soon as I took the sockets out of the lights and cleaned them the problem has not came back. I also upgraded to oem raptor tail lamps at the same time.
