From most of what I've seen and read, the difference in fuel economy between the two is so negligible that one shouldn't buy the ecoboost for fuel economy only. The 2 are very close.

And that V8 just sounds so freakin' straight off the showroom floor! Add exhaust, and viola! Instant boner!

As nice as a new 5.0 would be, I am going to stick with my 4.6L 2v. The cost of one is too much for this cheapskate. Would be cheaper for me to just add a turbo.

19.11 the life of my truck. Ran 250 miles today over to Indy and back to visit a supplier and reset the trip B calc for mileage and it got 21.9 mpg for 242.7 miles. That's pretty darn good. Albeit I was in and out of 50 mph construction zones... I should demo one for a few days from the dealer....

You put pipes on yours yet?

ya ford had the gear head in mind when they put exhaust on thees trucks!

on another note, i just got back from a round trip of 100 miles to day. went to my trip and i am getting right at 22 well its 21.9. dam son thats still awesome no matter how you serve it up! the longer i drive this truck the more i love it!:u sa:
