OEM Splash Guards

Has anyone installed the oem splash guards? Every time I wash my truck and drive anywhere it seems like I hit a puddle and it covers the side of the truck. The splash guards should prevent this or cut down on it a lot. Does anyone have pictures of a truck with them?

I have them on my 2012 FX4 and really like them. This is the first time I have put OEM mud flaps on any of my trucks and I think they look and function really good. I have tried about every brand out there such as Weathertech, Husky, DuraFlap and LuVerne on my other F150's and I am not disappointed with my decision to put the OEM ones on this truck.

I've had them on my last 3 trucks and love them. One thing I do differently though is clean the area between the spash guard and the truck very carefully. I then mask both the guard and the fender so I can apply black RTV sealer between the two. It not only makes for a cleaner looking install, but keeps salt and road grime from getting trapped in there.

I have Weathertech guards on my 2011 XLT screw. You can install on the front and back in about a half hour. I'm satisfied with them.

I have the factory flaps and like them... but they seem to me mounted sort of flimsy... not bolts, but the plastic press in trim fasteners... I am wondering if I should get some bolts on them before I loose them?

If they're anything like the molded ones I put on my wife's last SUV they kind of snap in place somehow.

The Weathertech's that I have actually come with stainless steel hardware for mounting. They are pretty solid.

I have the Weathertechs as well. No complaints.

The mounting system is pretty solid.

I have the OEM on my 2012, installing them on the rear tires can be a pain as you have to lift the truck to get them in, other than that they look great.

I have Weathertechs and I like them. I added slightly larger washers to the original factory screws on the front. Good price, easy to install and solid. Saves some of the mess on the sides of the truck.

I been using the OEM's on my last few trucks, because i like the molded look.
Just be aware that the RR does not fit perfectly. At least on my trucks.
