Aren't the 2009 fx2 heads and tails ingot silver? Those would look good. Those 2010 fx2 tails look better than the chrome ones but IMO it looks off if you don't have the matching heads. I can't tell if yours are chrome or not

Thought about doing that with my stock chrome ones.....just not sure about getting them apart and resealing them.

IMO if you plan on doing FX2 heads or HD heads I would keep the FX2 tails cause I think it would tie into the overall look of the truck. I will be picking up a set of the HD tails myself now that I have the FX heads.

Not that method, you put touch up paint in the crack where the lens and plastic backing meet. There is a gap and it makes the edge the color of your truck instead of the overbearing chrome.

do like every other person go with the fx2. why be different and keep the chrome that match the bumpers steps and trim? join the herd and forget about thinking for your self. lol i think you should go with what you like.
