Stalling issue

I have a 2011 5.0 screw with 3.73 gears. Today my wife has the truck to haul stuff for her craft show. She calls and says the truck keeps stalling, like she had to keep restarting the truck 3-4 times to back up 10 feet. The dealership we bought it from is going to pick it up and give us another truck to use while they figure it out. I will let everyone know what they find out when they tell me (service dept is not open until Monday). I was just wondering if anyone else has had this problem and could provide some insight. Thanks
Mike

If the IAC circuit (idle air control) is plugged, it would exhibit these symptoms.

Easy fix, too. Just spray some 'brake clean' in and around the circuit.

This happens to fuel injected Harley scooters all the time.

But, being a new truck, I kinda doubt this is the problem.............all those new electronic controls.

Well, I heard from the dealership today. They have been driving it with no problems. Truck didn't throw any codes or anything. They talked to Ford and they hadn't heard of the problem either, but authorized the dealer to replace the throttle body. It kind of makes sense because the service guy said if it wasn't idling right and you put a load on the engine, it may make it stall. Also, my avg mpg has been lower than before by about 2 mpg, so maybe that had something to do with the throttle body. I hope it works because I am getting tired of putting my truck in the shop. All in all, I love this truck and can't wait til she comes back( hopefully tomorrow night).

F-150's haven't had an IAC since 2003, it's all electronic throttle now.
