Throttle response

Anyone know if its possible to increase the throttle response on a 10 5.4? I have a Edge tuner and a 87 octane performance tune. My truck appears to be very sluggish on accelerating. Thanks in advance.....

Hey.

Provided you don't have a preexisting condition ( TB problem, dirty MAF, clogged fuel filters or cats, etc) getting yer Edge converted to a Gryphon and running custom tuning wil certainly help - you can specify whatever throttle response you wish.

Thanks for the reply MGD. The 87 performance tune I have is from PHP. I didn't know i could improve my throttle responce through that. I will to do some research on how to go about that. Thanks for the info...

Sorry bud - I misunderstood.

So this is already a custom tune, not one of the PHP's canned tunes you get by default on a Gryphon?

By all means, if you think yer ETC has got some delays, let them know - I'm sure they can adjust your calibration to suit your specific wishes...

Good luck!

Correct, my truck is a 2010,so my tuner never was sent to PHP to be converted. They just wrote the tune. They stated that there was no need to do a conversion.
