You do realize that your probably over on your recievers rating. It's usually 500lbs for tongue weight w/o WD.

The actual receiver bolted to the truck is rated for 10,500/1050 I believe. My plug in hitch is rated for 16,000/1600 and the ball is rated for 12,000.

Glad I found this post! Just towed a 23' fishing boat and was curious how my EB compared. I got an average 13.2 mpg for the entire trip and the boat/trailer/gear is #6600. Sound within reason when reading your numbers, and I agree, can't believe how little effort and noise this v6 makes towing on the freeway.

Nice truck and boat. Glad the trip went well with the Ecoboost. It'll get better with time.
