Any new engine programmer news?

I am still looking for a programmer for my 11' 5.0, just wondering if more people have purchased them, and what their opinions are???

5Startuning has some very highly rated SCT XCAL3 tunes for the 5.0L.

I'm not certain why, nor am I certain it's still the case, but it's been reported that 5Star's tunes don't enable some of the end-user adjustments.

Of course, I can't seem to find the post where that was stated

As for being in Canuckistan, ol' Cheef is in T.O and he's got 5Star tunin'.

Yeah I gots the ole 5star and it's been great. Keep in mind I don't have experience with any other tuner.

I don't think being a Canadian has anything to do with it though...the tunes get email'd so you could live anywhere in the universe.

As far as 5star goes their website indicates some strong numbers for the 5.0 as your can see from the posted dyno's.

I've driven the eco's and the 5.0's and they are fantastic. However, knowing what I know now I would not be without a custom or dyno tune. It's that good.

I'm going to be going with VMP Tuning. Justin is definitely one of the best tuners in the business.

07, Don't let the Canadian angle sway any thoughts on 5 star. I had some trouble with my tuner a while back, and a long thread about it, but they worked with me, called me long distance, and stayed on it till they got the troubles fixed. I truly got great service, and in case it isn't completely obvious, i also live in the great white north, except not quite in the center of the universe. We call it oil country.
