Custom sheepskin covers on my seats.

Warm in the winter, cool in the summer.

When it's -30, I'll risk a burnt bum over my lower back clamping up with the cold anyday!
I love heated seats.

Heated seats and heated steering wheel is the only way to go.

I wouldn't call them wimps. Think of how fearless these adrenaline junkies with heated seats are to look death straight in the eye everytime they plant their backside in harms way.

They are cut from a different cloth. Probably even like their coffee hot and their beer cold. I shudder to think what terrible injuries could result from that.

Shot photos of a woman for USA today a while back. She was a paraplegic. Seat heaters got flipped on somehow on a long trip. She didn't realize until she smelt her own flesh burning. Third degree burns and a long long recovery time.

For more reasons than one, they need some kind of safety shutoff.

dang. now i hadnt thought about that. ill admit, i wrongly had all the victims of this seat burning heater thing pegged as the same morons who spill mcdonalds coffee on themselves and sue because it was hot.

you are right, should be a safety shutoff. how hard could it be to thermostatically control the things? we can control engine temp and HVAC but not a seat heater?

Yeah, I mean really.... 105 degrees is a bit much for a constant temp. They are awesome, but they clearly need some tweaking.
