ecoboost with lift MPG?

Has anyone lifted a ecoboost f150 and if so what kind of Gas mileage are you seeing? I was wondering if it was better than the 5.0 and just how much better. I am thinking of selling my tricked out 07 super duty and getting an f150 just not sure what direction to go. Any advice is appreciated.

From reading about a few guys here, they lost on average 1.5 - 2 mpg. They were getting 12-13 city and 16-18 hwy. It also depends where you live. My SoCal gas gives me 13 city and 17-18 hwy all stock ( 20's & 3:73's).

I was getting 18.5-19 on a regular 210 mile highway trip. First trip after level/tires I got 17 corrected on the computer.

My son lifted his 2011 and put 305/55R20s on his stock wheels. A Ford mechanic friend offered to reset the computer to for larger tire size, but the PCM on the Ecoboost trucks can only be adjusted to one of the available factory tire sizes (not so with the 5.0). He picked the closest diameter, but it still reads around 4% low. He doesn't calculate his mileage, but driving from Phoenix to Louisiana the dash was showing 14-15 (plus 4%)...but then he does admit taking liberties with the speed limit. Bigger tires and high speeds are not friendly to his mileage. BTW, he has the 3.55 gears.

I have 2-inch lift with 33.4 inch tall MTs (LT305/55R20).

Normal daily driving (90% City, lots of stop and go, occassional spool of the turbos for passing, etc.) nets me right at 12 mpg. Best on freeway at speed limit (75-80 mpg on open road nets me 13 mpg).

Driving the way I really like to drive (normal but with more spirited acceleration to the speed limit) nets me 10-11 mpg.

Even before my mods, I wasn't getting any better than my 2009 5.4L FX4; 13-14 City/16-17 Highway.

Nope, no gas mileage advantages but dang fun to drive.

I'm actually averaging about 2-2.5mpg better both city and highway than my 2007 FX4 with the same size tire in an all terrain. With that said, your 5.4 had a six speed tranny and mine was a 4 speed. The transmission alone could contribute to the 2 mpg gain, but this truck has loads more power.
