Hey everyone,

I wondering if anybody could clear up a couple of things for me. I just purchased a new Lariat yesterday and the salesmen told me a couple of things that didn't really sound right to me. Ford Canada is giving away $1000 in free accessories when you buy a new vehicle so I was deciding on what to put on my new truck, I asked the guy to include remote start as part of my $1000 in accessories and he told me that remote start was standard equipment on the Lariat package. Does this seem right? I don't see it on the specs anywhere. He also told me that it came standard with floor mats as well. Are these carpet or rubber mats?

Here are the options I have:

2012 Lariat white platinum metallic tricoat
Navigation
Moon Roof
Chrome Package
Tailgate Step

Any help would be much appreciated!!

I know my fx4 came standard with rubber mats, the fx2 comes standard with carpet mats (this is in the US and things are different between ca and us trucks)

go around the lot and find a similar truck that could answer your questions.

i.e. lariat to verify floor mats and remote start.

 

Remote start=standard equipment
rubber mats=optional
with package 508A= rubber mats are standard
on lariat
